NOTICE:  What you are about to read about is factual (f) or based upon a matter of Opinion.  All claims can be substantiated and verified.  If Dr. Torcasio and Susan School wish to address a libel issue in court, this would be welcomed.  Facts would be presented in open court, for all to hear in a public forum.

Cathy Torcasio recommends Attorney Sheri Peters to be Helen  and John Grochowski's estate planning Attorney.  Since Cathy Torcasio was a business associate of the firm Sheri Peters works for, Williger & Peters, was this not  a conflict of interest?   Whose "best interest" is being looked out for?  The truth will be unfolded!

For years, Cathy Torcasio and Susan School had minimal contact with their parents, visiting maybe three times per year.  Both Cathy and Susan made the time to show up for the meeting with the estate planning attorney.  For decades they stated that they did not want to "get involved" with their parents situation.  Interesting, when the issue is money, they want to "get involved".

After raising questions and concerns at the first meeting with the estate planning attorney, sibling Pat Mihaly was barred from any future meetings.  All meetings with attorney Sheri Peters were closed, except to Helen, Cathy and/or Susan.

On July 15, 2005, Attorney Sheri Peters was notified of laws regarding elder abuse  exploitation.  These laws include family members who have had no/minimal involvement with the elderly parent prior to being included in financial and legal matters.   Dr. Cathy Torcasio and Susan had slim to minimal  involvement with their elderly parents prior to inclusion.  "Cathy's Attorney", Sheri Peters, chose to ignore this notification.  

Cathy Torcasio's husband, Lou, changed the locks to John Grochowski's house, while Pat Mihaly was at a meeting she arranged for John at Cuyahoga Falls Country Place (where he was supposed to be temporarily residing).  For months, John was not informed of his monthly update meeting.  Only Helen Grochowski and Cathy Torcasio and/or Susan School attended these meetings.  John's rights had been violated.

Susan School's husband, Rudy School, also changed the locks on John's house.  Helen had accidently left her keys in her granddaughter Heather's car.  That evening Susan called Heather demanding that the keys be returned to Helen or she will pick them up, that night.  Heather told Susan School that she would return the keys in the morning to Helen, since it was nearly 11 pm at night.  Before Heather could return them the next morning, Rudy School went to Helen's house and changed all door locks.  What were they trying to hide?

When John lived at home, and due to his macular degeneration eye disease, his eyes worsened, he would call Pat Mihaly to drive him places, or just for a ride in his dear old 1991 pickup truck.  He often told Pat, and informed his wife Helen, that when he died he knew who he wanted to get his truck .. "Patty".  After John went into a nursing home, Susan School said she would pay Helen $3,000 for the truck and drive it off a cliff before Pat gets it. 

Although their father, John Grochowski, was deemed competent, the Attorney had Helen abuse her Power of Attorney for John, transferring his house into her name, and withdrawing tens of thousands of dollars of of his bank account and into hers, then closing the accounts, without John's knowledge!  The majority of funds were then transferred into a "gifting" checking account for Cathy Torcasio and Susan School.

John Grochowski would repeatedly ask his wife Helen if his money (at the bank) was ok and still there.  Even though Helen withdrew all money and closed the accounts (starting to transfer thousands of dollars in to the account set up for Cathy Torcasio and Susan School), she would tell him yes.  I, on the otherhand would tell John the truth ... his money was gone.  I told him I would take him to North Akron Savings, where he could find out the truth.  Helen was livid.  When picking John up the next morning,  numerous Cuyahoga Falls Country Place staff were in John's unit, along with Helen and Susan School.  Helen was crying and Susan was comforting her.  It was truly an Academy Award moment!  They forbade me from taking John, since Helen was his power of attorney.  This document meant nothing!  They were not his guardian.  John did get to go to the bank, riding with Helen and Susan School, where he found out the lies told to him ... his accounts were emptied and closed!

John asked that his daughter Pat attend the visit to Falls Village with him, when a transfer of facilities was considered.  He had an ear appointment the morning of the visitation.  Helen was to call Pat after the appointment, so that she could meet Helen and Cathy Torcasio at Falls Village.  No call was ever made to Pat.   Helen, Cathy Torcasio, and John went to Falls Village and began the tour without Pat.  Upon calling the ear Physician and learning that they had left, and already begun the tour, Pat sped to Falls Village and scoured the facility to find them.  When Pat questioned Helen as to why she was not notified, Dr. Cathy Torcasio stated "That was my decision", even though John specifically requested that Pat be there!

The "gifting" checking account was supposed to be in Cathy Torcasio, Pat Mihaly, and Susan School's name.  Pat Mihaly was omitted.  Attorney Sheri Peters (also known as "Cathy's attorney), told Helen that Pat was omitted because she is on Medicaid.  This is, and was, a LIE!  Therefore, tens of thousands of dollars continued to be filtered into Cathy and Susan's account.

NINE days prior to John's death, his daughter Pat Mihaly brought John one of his favorite beverages, for the very last time, "Heineken".  He was so very happy:

And what did Dr. Cathy Torcasio have to say about this:  "Dad's latest pneumonia was definately caused by aspiration of thin, unthickened liquids...nice job helping hasten his life. The doctors told me it was liquids that had resulted in his most recent right lobe pneumonia. Very poor judgment I believe and I have saved a copy of these photos for future use."

Dr. Cathy Torcasio must have graduated cum laude in being uncompassionate and downright stupid.  NINE days had passed since he had the beer.  Thank God Cathy Torcasio did not go to medical school.  There is a serious lacking in common sense.

Cathy Torcasio recommends  Attorney Diana Colavecchio to be Helen Grochowski's present Attorney.  Diana is a high school classmate of Cathy Torcasio.   Is this not a conflict of interest?  Whose "best interest" is being looked out for?  What threats has the Attorney Cathy Torcasio recommended been made to Helen's daughter, Pat Mihaly, and to her granddaughter, Heather Nagel.  The truth will be unfolded!

John was kept at Cuyahoga Falls Country Place because "he couldn't walk".   Cathy Torcasio and Helen Grochowski said this.  The following is an entry on John's obit guestbook  page on Ohio.com, from a worker who took care of him.  I also used to walk with John to the restroom.  He could walk UNASSISTED.  He could not go home because he could not walk?  How deceitful.

This site was created so that all of you who knew John Grochowski can learn what really happened to him the last two years of his life.  His daughters, Dr. Cathy Torcasio and Susan School, wanted nothing to do with him prior to these two years.  Cathy and Susan visited his house MAYBE three times per year.  

I, on the otherhand, was very involved and supportive of  John and Helen Grochowski.   I visited them several times per week.  Called them everyday to make sure they were ok.  Made repairs around their house.  Took John to doctor visits. 

I was a very involved daughter to my elderly parents.  Cathy Torcasio and Susan School were non-involved.

Cathy Torcasio has referred to me as "dangerous".  Could this be because I am an honest person who reveals those who are not honest?  Is this why I am a "danger" to her?  After reading what I am revealing, you be the judge!
